    Story

Greenfield Basket has been making baskets since 1933. Our small manufacturing plant produces hand-made baskets for fruit and vegetable harvesting and has grown into a world-wide business.

Today, owners Stephen and Janel Cook, along with their amazing team, continue to produce a large line of American Made wooden baskets. These baskets are used today for agricultural use, produce markets, floral shops, crafts, gift baskets, and much more. Each of our baskets is available in a variety of colors.

Our facility begins the process with logs such as poplar, beech, ash, cherry and hickory, among others, that are obtained from local timber harvesters. From there it is veneered into thin strips of wood and hand crafted into a beautifully constructed basket. The leftover wood is burned in our boiler so there is very little waste. Our boiler heats our factory as well as our kiln where the baskets are dried.
